【プランテーション・ラム・バルバドス X.O 20thアニバーサリー】

新しく入ってきたフランス産のラム酒です。

バニラやドライバナナの香りに、カカオとココナッツの甘い
まろやかな味が特徴のラム酒。

バルバドス共和国で生産させた数種類のラムを
バーボン樽にて長期熟成させた後に、
フランス国内にあるプランテーション ラム シリーズが
生産されている、コニャック フェラン社へ移動させて
そこで一旦、セラーマスターによりブレンド化させられます。

ブレンド後に再度、フレンチオーク樽にて熟成させて
ボトリングされたラム酒になっています。

この2つの樽で熟成させる「ダブルエイジング法」によって
バーボン樽の甘い香りと
フレンチオーク樽のスパイスの香りが、
ほどよく合わされています。

このラム酒は、プランテーション ラム シリーズの
生産会社、コニャック フェラン社の創立20周年目を
記念して造られていて、

また2017年〜2019年の間に行われたラム酒の
世界大会で7回も金賞を受賞されている
プレミアム付きのラム酒ボトルになっています。

【 Plantation Rum Barbados X.O 20th Anniversary 】

This is the newly arrived Rum.

Aromas of vanilla and dried bananas
Rum with a sweet and mellow taste of cacao and coconut.

This rum is made from several types of rum produced in Barbados and aged in bourbon barrels for a long time.

It is then sent to the Cognac Ferrand company in France where the Plantation Rum series’s produced.
Blended by the Cellar Master at the Cognac Ferrand company.

After blending, it is aged again in French oak barrels.

By double aging, the sweet scent of bourbon barrels and
The fragrance of the spice of the French oak barrel matches it moderately.

Also, this Rum is a bottle released to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Cognac Ferrand company.
It is also said to be a premium rum that won seven gold medals in numerous competitions held between 2017 and 2019.

【サンタテレサ1796ラム】

ドライフルーツの果実味に、バニラのまろやかな
甘さとシナモンや黒胡椒のビター感の香りに、
ナッツ系の後味が特徴的な1本です。

味の癖はあまりなく、ラム酒をあまり飲んだことが
ない人や、ラム酒の味に慣れていない
ラム初心者の方でも かなり飲みやすい口当たり。

このラム酒は、ベネズエラにある創立1796年に
できた「サンタテレサ社」という会社が製造元。

サンタテレサ社は、ベネズエラの中で1番古くから
ある蒸留所で、創立から1856年度までは
砂糖を作る製糖工場だったらしいです。

会社の創立200周年を記念して作られた
このラム酒「サンタテレサ1796」を
リリース販売。

200年も続いてる会社ってだけで凄いですよね。
調べてみると家族相続経営で、他責経営は一切ないと
言うことも判明しました。

まさに誰もが憧れる素晴らしい会社ですよね！

「サンタテレサ1796」の製造方法も、かなりの
こだわりが込められてる1本でございます。

4年〜35年間の月日を、オーク樽で熟成させた
ラム酒の原酒それぞれを、
マスターディスティラーと呼ばれる
ラム作りの全ての過程を深く、綿密に理解した
人達よって、細かくブレンドされ
更に、そのブレンドされた原酒をブランデーの
コニャック樽をピラミッド状5段に
積み上げられた樽の中で6年間の熟成を得て
1番下の樽からボトリングされ、
減った樽の分をまた上の樽から補充するという
まさに継ぎ足し方式で作られています。

この継ぎ足し方式を「ソレラシステム」と言い、
継ぎ足し熟成することで、
時代を超えても味を崩さない、
または 新しい原酒と古い原酒が混ざり合うことで
よりフレッシュな味わいを出すことが
できるみたいです。凄いですよね(*^_^*)

ソレラシステムは、基本的に
シェリーやワインなどを製造する時に
使われる熟成方法ですが、一部ラム酒の熟成方法にも
取り扱われています。

サンタテレサも、200年以上続く長い歴史の中で
変わらない味を出し続ける為に、この
「ソレラシステム方」が使われているみたいです。

またボトルのデザインにも素晴らしい意味が
あり感激しました。

【Santa Teresa 1796】Rum

The fruitiness of dried fruits, the mellow sweetness of vanilla, the bitter scent of cinnamon and black pepper, and the aftertaste of nuts.

It does not have a peculiar taste, and it is quite easy to drink, even for people who have never drunk rum or rum beginners who are not used to rum taste.

This Rum was founded in 1796 in Venezuela,
It is Rum made by “Santa Teresa”.

“Santa Teresa” is the oldest distillery in Venezuela.

Until 1856, it was a company of sugar mills.
Released to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the company,
This Rum “Santa Teresa 1796″.

“Santa Teresa 1796″ is a rum that has been aged in oak barrels for 4 to 35 years, and is blended by people who understand the whole process of making rum, called a Master distiller. The cognac barrels of brandy are aged for 6 years in five pyramid-shaped barrels, and the taste is uniformed with the solera system method, which is bottled from the bottom barrel and replenished from the top. It is a Rum that was made.

By being made with this solera system, the taste does not change over time, and by mixing new rum with old rum, it is possible to create a fresher taste.

The solera system is basically the aging method used when making sherry and wine, but this aging method is also used for one part of Rum.

“Santa Teresa” is also matured in the solera system in order to continue to produce the same taste over the long history of over 200 years.
